Why I Do This
Your ability deserves opportunity
The responsibility you take on and the results you deliver deserve recognition. Your title, pay and opportunities should reflect the level at which you operate.
Ambition and enjoyment belong together.
You can love a challenge, want the promotion and go after more, while also wanting work that excites you and time for the people who matter. Those ambitions belong alongside each other.
There is more than one way forward.
Your next move could mean changing what isn’t working, progressing where you are or pursuing something elsewhere. What matters is that it takes you towards what you actually want.
I'MÂ LOUISE
Success should be something you get to enjoy, too.
Developing people was always one of my favourite parts of leadership. Seeing someone recognise what they could do, take on an opportunity and succeed was hugely rewarding. That’s what I love about this work today: seeing people go further in their careers and enjoy the success they’ve worked for.
My experience spans 34 years in corporate, including 22 in senior leadership, from Director to Managing Director. Across different industries and continents, I helped lead multimillion-pound business growth and developed hundreds of people along the way.
Today, as creator of the Career Acceleration Method, I bring together that leadership experience and my study of human behaviour to work with ambitious professionals who love succeeding and want to keep going.
The promotion, the pay, the recognition and influence. The opportunity to grow as a leader and do work that excites you, while having time for the people and life that matter to you.
MY STORY
Â
I knew what it was to achieve success. I also knew that how it felt could be very different from how it looked.
Throughout my corporate career, I saw how quickly someone’s experience of work could change. A person could be thriving under one leader, then questioning themselves under another. A difficult relationship or disagreement could leave an experienced professional having to explain themselves, despite everything they had achieved.
I experienced that too. With one leader, I challenged ideas and put myself forward. With another, I questioned myself and said less. My ability hadn’t changed, but the relationship affected what I felt able to do next.
There was another side to it as well. I loved taking on a challenge and achieving something I’d worked towards. But there were opportunities I accepted because they felt too good to turn down, without understanding whether I would enjoy the reality of doing the work.
Those experiences raised questions. Why could working harder bring more responsibility without the progression to match? Why could a particular person affect someone who was confident elsewhere? And why could achieving something we’d worked towards still leave us unfulfilled?
After leaving corporate leadership, I studied human behaviour. That learning helped me make sense of situations I had witnessed and experienced throughout my career. Together with my leadership experience, it became the foundation of the Career Acceleration Method.
It connects how you see yourself, how you show up and how other people understand your value, then applies that to the career progress you want. Alongside communication, positioning, relationships and negotiation, it helps you understand what is affecting your progress and decide what comes next.
Success should be something you get to enjoy, too.

“Louise helped me get honest about what was driving my decisions and what I actually needed from my career. That clarity changed everything. I left, started my own business, and followed a direction that genuinely excites me.”
